Ampient musicians took part in the First Night celebration on New Year’s Eve 2009. For four straight hours, Todd Steed, George Middlebrooks, John Baker, Jim Rivers and Bob Deck created a continually improvised soundtrack for downtown partygoers who happened into our Gay Street locale.
